Remember the 90's surf movie - Endless Summer 2? Pat O'Connell, the super hyper, super stoked grom from the movie is grown up and now the VP of Sports Marketing for Hurley International. I caught a great quote from him recently about the birth of Hurley:
"What does it all mean? It all sounds funny in the beginning until you put a logo and some people behind it, "it's just like dude, what?""
Solid reminder that so many great ideas germinate only in the mind of the creator...no one else sees it until it becomes tangible.
